Hoof Track Bolo

This piece honours our hoofed relatives  the animals who sustain, guide, and teach us. The hoof track design is carefully hand-stitched in black porcupine quills onto natural birchbark, creating a striking contrast that carries both strength and softness.

The birchbark is backed with smoked deer hide, grounding the piece in tradition and adding depth and durability. Set against braided black cords, the natural textures and tones speak to land, movement, and connection.

A wearable reminder of respect, relationship, and the tracks that continue to guide us.
